Autumn in the Smoky Mountains

Do you feel that? Do you feel that crisp coolness in the air? Isn't it just the best thing ever? October has arrived and with it, my favorite season. Autumn in the mountains is definitely a sight worth seeing. What we like to call "leaf looking" season can be some of the busiest times in these small towns, but the views are definitely worth it.  Black Balsam Ridge, 2017 If you get a chance to come to the mountains during this season take a drive along the parkway. If you want the full experience, bring along your hiking gear and pick a trail that is right for you! During this year of quarantining getting back out on the trails has been a lifesaver for me and I can't wait to revisit my favorites when they are in their full autumn glory.  There are many different trails for hikers of any skill level so don't worry if you aren't the most experienced hiker of the group.
