I currently reside in North Carolina and have lived here for most of my life. Travel is a passion that I have long held near and dear to my heart. It never fails to amaze me when I can see new and exotic locations that should only exist in the fantasy worlds that authors dream of. We each occupy only a small portion of the world, so being able to travel and gain perspectives that I otherwise would never have is an opportunity that I don't ever plan to waste!

I am always glad to learn about new and obscure corners to explore and suggestions are always welcome! And as someone who loves to eat, almost as much as she loves to travel, I really enjoy getting to taste and experience cuisines from around the world.

History is also a passion of mine, so most of my posts will probably focus on the history of the place I am visiting. If you too enjoy a little history with your travel, please share some of your favorite historical spots that you have visited! I am always looking for new (old) places to visit.
